Labrador - Autopsy of Silence
Labrador – Autopsie du silence
A cargo ship sets out on its final voyage of the year to supply Inuit communities in the Far North. During a storm off the coast of Labrador, the ship’s cook is found murdered in his cabin. With twenty crew members on board, identifying the killer proves impossible, but investigators turn their suspicions towards Alupa, an Inuit mechanic and friend of the victim.
The story unfolds in reverse, from the initial investigation back to the moment of the murder during the storm. Moving beyond the conventions of the traditional crime film, it explores deeper questions of race, class and desire.
