Synopsis

Unpopular best friends PJ and Josie are both lesbian virgins, each pining for Brittany and Isabel, the hottest two girls on the high school cheerleading team, to lose their virginity to. Their clumsy attempts to engage in casual conversations always lead to failure, so they come up with another plan: to start a self-defense club. In a bizarre twist, however, they have instead started a fight club. But their plan works! And soon the school's most popular girls line up to fight each other in the name of self-defense.
PJ and Josie thrive in their newfound fame and attention, but as things get more real, they must find a way out before their plan is exposed.

Director Emma Seligman (Shiva Baby, 2021) brings us a twisted, absurd and hilarious high school satire, co-written by Rachel Sennott (PJ). BOTTOMS is a genre knockout, where girls pack a punch instead of a makeover kit. You're welcome.
