Biography

Marin Håskjold is a Norwegian artist, filmmaker and producer educated at Nordland art and film school. She has made a number of short films, art films and music videos, including Lady of the Night (2017), Talkshow (2020) and What is a woman? (2021). She has exhibited and shown her films at a number of venues and festivals, including Nordisk Panorama and Tate Modern. Her short film What is a woman? has won numerous awards, including the Amanda Award in 2021, and it's still active on the festival circuit, in addition to getting picked up by The Criterion Channel. Håskjold is co-owner of Jack Filmbyrå, a distribution company whose goal is to spread artistic films.
