New to Copenhagen, Johan lives a life of partying, flirting and sex. Recently hired at a gay sauna as receptionist, when he is not working he is a more than willing guest.
Although leading a seemingly carefree life, he longs for something more, and when William enters his life, everything changes, and the two embark on a steamy love affair.
William is trans, and has taken a year off to focus on his gender affirming therapy and save up for top surgery. As they introduce each other to their respective queer communities, they are met with discrimination and a lack of understanding. Can their relationship survive in a society with rigid ideas and norms around gender, identity and relationships?
The film is based on a book by Mads Ananda Lodahl, and is the first Danish film with a trans actor and lead character.
